Annmarie Bricker, 23, of Valparaiso, North Indiana, was charged with a misdemeanor battery charge for attacking her sister, Lori Kappes, outside a home in Porter County. Lori Kappes was newly married and was having her wedding reception when Bricker showed up at the house.

This house was the home of a friend of the wedding couple, Nicholas Landry and Lori Kappes. Bricker came and attacked Kappes on the front porch of the house. Kappes suffered when Bricker pulled out clumps of her hair from her head. Kappes’ makeup was smeared. Kappes did not seek medical treatment.

Bricker denied attacking her sister Kappes. Bricker told police she went there to discuss family problems. Bricker denied touching her sister.
