Ann Nixon Cooper: Ann Nixon Cooper oldest American voter

Ann Nixon Cooper, 106, was one of the oldest voters for America’s first African-American president in 2008. Cooper was a daughter of slaves born before the Civil War. Ann Nixon Cooper said she has seen so many changes during her lifetime and hopes for more changes under Barack Obama.
