Angel Island in San Francisco Bay has a fire that started at 9 pm Sunday night, Oct 12. By 12 midnight, the Angel Island fire had spread to 100 acres. Angel Island Fire live webcam is here.

Campers on Angel Island were evacuated. Fire fighting crews from Marin County, San Francisco and the US Coast Guard were sent to the island. The fire was seen burning on Mount Livermore, the highest point on Angel Island.

The fire was burning on the east side of Angel Island. Angel Island, with some historic buildings, has been a popular spot for campers and history enthusiasts.
