Andrew Adelman has been accused of rape. Adelman has not been arrested or charged with any crimes in relation to this case. Adelman is the General Manager of the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. Adelman was placed on administrative leave pending the investigation into the rape accusation.

A woman claimed Adelman raped her at his condominium in July 2009. She said she had some drinks in pub/s on July 10. She claimed she blacked out and awoke the following morning, realizing she was raped/ being raped by a man. The woman claimed Adelman was the man who raped her.

Adelman’s lawyer said his client was innocent of the said allegation.
