Andre 3000 Andre Benjamin charged for speeding

Andre 3000 was charged for speeding. Andre 3000, one half of the hip hop band Outkast, was charged with driving 109 mph in a 65 mph zone.

Andre 3000, born Andre Benjamin, 33, was released after he paid a $1200 property bond. Benjamin has to appear in court on April 29.

Andre Benjamin told police he missed an exit and had to turn around. He was going fast because of his mistake.
