Andi Varagona of Nashville, Tenn., was shot in her arm and leg while she was having dinner at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower hotel, in Mumbai. Andi Varagona is now recovering in a hospital in Mumbai. Andi Varagona has called her mother, Celeste Varagona, and informed her of her status.

Santos Lopez, husband of Andi Varagona, is on his way to Mumbai, India, now to be with his wife.

Varagona, runs a holistic health clinic in Nashville, Tenn. Her Hindu name is Hindu name Rudrani Devi. Varagona was in India on a business cum pilgrimage trip.
