Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, her husband, have their firstborn son, Archie Arnett. Amy Poehler gave birth to her baby boy, Archie Arnett on Saturday Night. Amy Poehler had spent Saturday in labor and the staff, crew and cast of SNL were prepared to do the show without Poehler.

Seth Meyers, Poehler’s co-host on SNL skits, announced that Amy Poehler would not be working on this Saturday’s SNL, on Oct 25 because she just had a baby. Archie Arnett weighs 8 pounds and 1 ounce. Amy Poehler will not return to SNL after her maternity leave. Poehler will begin work on another NBC sitcom. The new sitcom is The Office and Poehler will write for it.

Congratulations to Amy Poehler and Will Arnett. We have watched SNL and the baby bump for a long time. Have a good maternity. Happy Fatherhood, Will Arnett!
