Amy Lynn Slenk’s last day on earth was the happiest day in her life. Slenk married her sweetheart Cole Handley in Soledad, Caliif. Slenk, 26, and Handley, 25, had just gotten married when tragedy struck. Slenk collapsed at her wedding reception.

Slenk’s sudden death was due to a brain aneurysm. Slenk had her medical condition for a long time and it was undetected until after her death.

Amy Slenk was originally from Holland Township in Ottawa County, Michigan. Slenk moved to Oregon to study Japanese and International Studies at Pacific University in Forest Grove. Cole Handley is from Soledad.
