Amanda Holden regretted her affair with Neil Morrissey. At that time, Amanda Holden was married to Les Dennis. Amanda Holden said it created plenty of backlash. It destroyed Amanda Holden’s image and marriage. Amanda Holden said that was one of the darkest periods of her life.

Amanda’s parents are Judith Mary Harrison and Frank Holden. Her biological parents serated when she wa s4 years old. Her mother had custody of her. Judith Harrison remarried to Leslie Drew Collister. Amanda joined theater acting at the tender age of 9 years old. She grew up to enrol in theater studies. Amanda’s first appeared on TV in a reality show called Blind Date. Slowly but surely, Amanda won roles for herself in TV, movie and stage productions.

Amanda Holden said she enjoyed being popular. Amanda Holden had a dramatic change since her fall from grace and the love of people. Amanda Holden recounted how she was a prefect at school, was modest in her ear piercing and did everything by the book.

Amanda Holden admitted that after her affair, she became an aweful person. Amanda Holden was married for 7 years until the affair. Amanda Holden & Les Dennis separated in 2002. Amanda Holden and Les Dennis were divorced in 2003.

Amanda Holden is 37 now. Her second marriage is approaching. It was time for reflection into the life of Amanda Holden. Amanda Holden’s fiance is music producer Chris Hughes, the father of her daughter Lexie. Amanda Holden & Chris Hughes will be married later this year in 2008.

Amanda Holden revealed that she met her ex husband, Les Dennis, when she was 22. Les Dennis was 16 years older than her so that would make him 38. Amanda Holden said that their relationship lasted for 11 years. That was inclusive of the time she was not yet married to him.

Les Dennis, 54, had a new daughter, Eleanor Grace, in April 2008 with his partner, 37-year-old life coach Claire Nicholson.

Nov 3 2011 – Amanda Holden won an award for being the Ultimate Theatre Star 2011. Holden wore a shimmery golden colored dress for her red carpet function. Holden was pregnant and showed off her baby bump at the Cosmopolitan Awards, in London. Amanda Holden has her own skeleton in the closet. She is estranged from her father, Frank Holden. He said they had drifted apart over the years. Amanda Holden had a makeover when she cut her long hair. She said she was nervous when she appeard in public for the first time. In JUne 2010, Holden made her short hair debut on a Saturday, at Britain’s Got Talent show. Amanda Holden is quite a popular colleague, or a telling one. She talked about her experiences working with Piers Morgan and Simon Cowell. Holden shared her personal glimpses into her male co-stars.

In September 2011, Holden was driving when her vehicle was involved in a car crash. Luckily, Holden was uninjured.

Amanda’s first child, a daughter, was fathered by her second husband, Chris Holden. After two miscarriages, Holden persisted in trying for her second child. Eventually, in August 2011, Holden wrote on Twitter she was expecting her second child. The gender of the unborn baby is female.

Amanda Holden had a close encounter with death. She was jogging one morning in November, 2007, when she stumbled upon a gruesome sight. A dead body was hanging from a tree, in Kew, west London. Holden was running with her personal trainer, when they came across the sight. Neither of them had carried mobile phones with them so they ran top the nearest telephone booth to alert the authorities. By the time emergency responders arrived, they found the victim had died. Amanda later released a statement to say she was sad for the man and his family.

Update on Jan 23 2012 -
Amanda Holden returned to Britain’s Got Talent in 2012. She cracked a joke about Simon Cowell, being soft hearted and unable to sack a pregnant woman. Amanda Holden is expecting her new baby. Her husband, Chris Hughes, is delighted with the anticipation of their new baby daughter. Ms Holden was previously pregnant with the couple’s child, a son. However, she lost her son through a miscarriage. Ms Holden miscarried some 7 months into her pregnancy. Holden said she thought the producers would hire Louis Walsh as her replacement, while she delivers her baby, and takes a confinement period to recover. Holden said she was not letting motherhood stop her as she would be returning to work, after delivering her baby.
