Amanda Hamm, 32, who was serving a 10 year jail sentence for drowning her three children, was released from prison.

Hamm was convicted of child endangerment after her three kids drowned in a car in Clinton Lake, in Sept. 2003. Hamm’s old boyfriend, Maurice LaGrone Jr., was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment after he was found guilty of first degree murder. Amanda Hamm had spent 3 years in jail before the trial and during the trial. A 90-day reduction in the sentence was given for good behavior.

Amanda Hamm walked out of Dwight Correction Center at 9 am, Tuesday, Sept. 9. Amanda Hamm covered her face as she walked past the waiting media and refused to comment.
