Thiago da Silva, of Brazil, was tortured and killed by assassins employed by his ex girlfriend, Alyne Padula. Alyne Padula and her aunt, Marcia Padula Viana were arrested and taken into police remand. On September 21, police arrested Alyne Padula and Marcia Padula Viana for their alleged involvement in the murder.

Thiago da Silva was practicing soccer on a field in a small rural area outside Brazil on Thursday, Sept. 18, when three men approached him. Thiago Da Silva was tortured before finally being shot. Da Silva did not die immediately. Da Silva survived long enough to tell police some details about his attack. Da Silva told police he fell into a trap. Da Silva said he ended his relationship with his girlfriend, whom he named as Alyne Padula. One of the three men who assaulted Da Silva has been identified as a member of the military police in Brazil. All men are friends of Alyne Padula’s aunt. Thiago Da Silva, 25, was a player for Vasco da Gama. Da Silva also played second division team Estacio de Sa Soccer Club. Thiago Da Silva passed away in hospital in Rio de Janeiro on September 24, Wed. night.
