Alfredo Dempkey, 27, has been arrested in LA. Dempkey was accused of extortion. Dempkey allegedly tried to blackmail a teen when he sad he would return her lost dog for cash or sex.

Dempkey found the dog last Friday, June 26. Dempkey then used the information on the dog’s tag to contact its owner. The teen reported to the police. When Dempkey showed up at a meeting place, he was arrested. Dempkey will be formally charged on Tuesday afternoon.

Alfredo Dempkey is a registered sex offender. Prosecutors are likely to ask for a high bail.
