May 22 2009 – Alexandra Pelosi has been slammed over taping her mother Nancy Pelosi. Fox News protested against Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, being allowed to use a “cuts” camera to record a video of her mother’s speech. Mrs Pelosi did not talk. It was to record Nancy Pelosi refusing to answer questions on her claim that the CIA lied to Congress about the Bush administration’s interrogation program.

Nancy Pelosi was staying at Grand Hyatt hotel in downtown Denver. Secret police arrested a man who tried to carry into the hotel, a rifle-type of case. There were 2 hunting rifles and 2 pistols found inside.

The suspect, Joseph Calanchini, 29, of Pinedale, Wyoming, was charged with the unlawful carrying of a weapon. Police will investigate if it was meant to be an assassination attempt on Nancy Pelosi. Police said Speaker Nancy Pelosi was not in any danger. Who is Joseph Calanchini? Why was Joseph Calanchini carrying 4 weapons into Grand Hyatt? Cindy Sheehan to challenge Nancy Pelosi in November elections

Cindy Sheehan may run as an independent and challenge House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in November 2008. San Francisco officials checked that there were sufficient signatures on Cindy Sheehan’s petitions.

Cindy Sheehan became an anti-war activist when her eldest son was killed in Iraq. Cindy Sheehan criticized Nancy Pelosi for refusing to cut the budget for the war. Nancy Pelosi’s spokesman Drew Hammill said that Pelosi welcomed Cindy Sheehan’s challenge.
