Alex Rodriguez called Selena Roberts of Sports Illustrated to say sorry for his comments during an interview with ESPN. A-Rod had denied using steroids to ESPN. Then Rodriguez accused Selena Roberts of making false allegations on him using steroids.

Selena Roberts said Rodriguez telephoned her on Wednesday, Feb 11. Roberts said A-Rod apologized for himself. Roberts said she held up making a statement on Rodriguez’s call until he has a chance to hold his news conference on Tuesday Feb 17.

Selena Roberts is presently writing her book on Alex Rodriguez. The book is called “A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez”. This book is due for publication and release on April 14.
