Alex Christopher Mercado, 4, has died inside neighbor’s home. Mercado lived in Mendota, California and a boy, 14, was at home when his death occurred. The teen is now arrested and a suspect in the murder of Mercado.

Alex Mercado died outside the dryer and his body was placed inside the clothes dryer. Mercado disappeared on Friday, October 30. Police and volunteers searched the area for Mercado. About 24 hours later, Mercado’s body was found inside the dryer, on Saturday, October 31.

The suspect’s name has not been released by police.
