Alejandra Guzman, a rock singer from Mexico, has made the news after she contracted infections from injections in her butt. Guzman had cosmetic non-surgery procedures via injections to her rear end done at a clinic. Guzman wanted to augment her posterior for beauty purposes.

The director of the clinic was arrested after several clients complained that they suffered infections after treatment from the clinic. The director had operated without proper medical knowledge or training. The director of the cosmetic surgery clinic had a high school diploma and was without any cosmetic surgery certificates.

Guzman said she went public with her suffering to raise awareness about cosmetic procedures and the danger of getting unqualified cosmetic treatments. Guzman wants to warn others so that they would not make the same mistakes her did.
