Updated November 4 – Alec Baldwin, 51, and Steve Martin, 64, are co-hosting the 82d Academy Awards. Baldwin, 51, has hosted the AA before this oncoming stint. Martin has also hosted the show before. The Academy Awards will be shown on Sunday, March 7, from the Kodak Theater, in Hollywood.

When Jack Cafferty questioned Alec Baldwin’s credibility over rumors he was running for public office, Baldwin brought up Cafferty’s disgraceful scandal.

In May 2003, Jack Cafferty was once convicted of leaving an accident scene where he had hit a cyclist. Cafferty sped away and broke more rules by driving past two red lights in his bid to escape from police in pursuit. Cafferty was tried and convicted. Cafferty was sentenced to do 70 hours of community service. Cafferty was forgiven and that was why he still maintains his job as a TV personality, as “Man of the People”.
