Updated May 18 2009 – Alec Baldwin was a guest on David Letterman’s show on May 12. Baldwin cracked some jokes about his desire to father more children. Baldwin told Letterman he was considerng a mail order bride from Philippines or Russia.

Baldwin’s comment has drawn the ire of Philippine Senator Ramon Revilla. Revilla gave his response as it was against the law to have a Filipina mail order bride. Ramon Revilla said Baldwin was insulting and insensitive to the sentiments of the people of Philippines. Mr Ramon Revilla suggested he would personally see to Baldwin’s comment.

Alec Baldwin was rumored to be dating Johanna Cox. Cox works in Elle magazine, after she became the winner in the reality TV show Stylista.

Alec Baldwin, 51, brought Johanna Cox, 29, as his date to the premiere of his new movie, “Lymelife”. A source who saw them said Baldwin and Cox acted like a couple as they were holding hands.

Alec Baldwin divorced from Kim Basinger in 2002. Baldwin has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from that marriage.
