Al Zimmerman, a former spokesman for Florida’s child welfare agency, was sentenced to more than 24 years in prison. Al Zimmerman was sentenced for his conviction in taking naked pictures of male teens.

Al Zimmerman, a former TV newsman, pleaded guilty to one charge of making child pornography. Other charges were dropped in the plea deal.

Al Zimmerman apologized to his victims and family.
