Kathy Jordan, Al Sharpton’s former wife, was arrested in New York. Kathy Jordan was arrested along with Sharpton’s daughter, Dominique Sharpton. Jordan and Ms Sharpton were arrested in Manhattan on Friday, October 30.

Dominique Sharpton was driving when she allegedly ran through a red light. Police pulled over Sharpton’s car. Sharpton and Jordan argued with the cop. This led to Sharpton and Jordan being arrested. They were taken to a station nearby and after some processing, they were released.

Sharpton and Jordan were issued tickets for resisting arrest, behaving with disorderly conduct and obstruction of government administration. Sharpton and Jordan have to appear in court for their formal arraignments.

The women’s lawyer said the arrests were questionable.
