Adessa Eskridge, a passenger on an airplane that landed at L.A. International Airport, threatens to sue L.A. city and its airport police. Eskridge claimed she was approached by airport police “to help them something.” Eskridge was flanked as she walked to the baggage claim area. Eskridge was led into a crowd of paparazzi on that day on Sept. 11.

It became apparent later that Askridge was used as an impromptu decoy to mislead the press on Jamie Lynn Spears, who had also disembarked from the same plane. Askridge has filed a claim to get money from the city of L.A. If her claim is not honored, Eskridge will file a lawsuit citing false arrest and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
