Adam Trenk, 25, and Thomas McGuire, 64, had a tie in their number of votes for election into the Town Council of Cave Creek in Phoenix, Arizona. The judge decided to use a deck of cards to help the candidates decide the winner. Trenk and McGuire agreed. McGuire drew a six of hearts while Trenk drew a king of hearts. That was the most unusual way of finally selecting the new Town Council member for Cave Creek.
