Adam C Peterson, 20, committed suicide in prison. Peterson was a former college student. Peterson was convicted of a murder in 2008. Peterson was found dead by his cell mate before 10 pm, Sat., Jan. 10.

Peterson hung himself at Dodge Correctional Institution in Waupun. Peterson had been incarcerated at Dodge since Dec.8.

In Dec., Peterson pleaded guilty to first degree murder of Joel Marino, 31. Peterson’s defence attorney claimed Peterson suffered from a mental illness. Peterson stabbed Marino in his Madison home in Jan. 2008.
