Ace Capone: Ace Capone sentenced to life
By Clarencia Cynrae on April 17th, 2009Ace Capone, CEO of Take Down Records, was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Ace Capone was arrested back in 2005. Capone was charged for running a drug ring spanning several states in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
The prosecutors seemed to think a DVD entitled “New Jack City: The Next Generation” portrayed Ace Capone in real life. The DVD showed Capone acting as a drug warlord who was involved in a battle for the city’s drug trade.
Cops found that Capone’s home in New Jersey had $500,000 cash, 10 guns and 450 grams of cocaine. Capone was convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, drug trafficking, wire fraud, money laundering and weapons charges.
The judge gave Al Capone a life sentence, plus 55 years. Capone was upset and cried after his sentencing.
