Aaron Westbrook, 25, was arrested on suspicion of having had sexual intercourse with a student. Aaron Westbrook, a teacher at Capistrano Valley High School, was arrested and detained on Mon., Dec. 1. Westbrook was accused of having sex with an under-aged female student.

Aaron Westbrook, 25, taught social science at the school. Westbrook was arrested after school authorities told police of the alleged sexual encounter. Westbrook was interviewed at the school and taken into custody on Mon., Dec 1. Westbrook had been coaching the school’s surf team and he was also the assistant coach for the girls’ volleyball team. Westbrook was claimed to have had sexual intimacy with a female student at his former home in San Clemente. A parent emailed the school during Thanksgiving and alleged that Westbrook had sex with a girl student. The young teen is between 14 – 17 years old.

Aaron Westbrook was released in bail on Tue., Dec. 2 but he will not be teaching classes. Westbrook had been teaching at the school for the past 3 years. Westbrook was alleged to have engaged with consensual sex with the teen student but that was illegal because the student was still a minor and under-aged. The school and law enforcement are investigating if other students were also involved in the victimization.
