50 Cent filed a lawsuit to demand restoration of visitation rights to see his son, Marquise Jackson, 11. 50 Cent’s real name is Curtis Jackson. He claimed his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, refused to let him see his son. Shaniqua Tompkins had told the gossip tabloids that 50 Cent did not try to see Marquise Jackson for 1 and 1/2 years.

There’s another lawsuit with details after the break.

Shaniqua Tompkins filed a lawsuit to respond to 50 Cent’s charge. Shaniqua Tompkins asked for a restraining order. Shaniqua Tompkins wants the court to ban 50 Cent from being anywhere near her. If 50 Cent comes to pick up Marquise for visitation, he has to do it from the curb. Shaniqua Tompkins does not 50 Cent to enter her house.

50 Cent has filed another lawsuit against Shaniqua Tompkins. This is a defamation lawsuit. Shaniqua Tompkins had told the press several times that she suspected 50 Cent was responsible for the fire that burnt down the house she was staying in with Marquise. Shaniqua Tompkins claimed that 50 Cent wanted to kill her and Marquise Jackson in the fire. 50 Cent has denied any wrong doing. 50 Cent is suing for $20 million in the defamation lawsuit.

The police and other authorities are still investigating the cause of fire in the house in Dix Hills. The house belonged to 50 Cent but he had tried to get Shaniqua evicted from the premises. It was unclear where Shaniqua Tompkins and Marquise Jackson would stay if they were evicted.
