The 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante has 99% of its original parts. The relatives of Carr have put it up for auction in Paris. It is expected to fetch a minimum of £ 4.7 million at an auction.
The Tye 57S Atalantes has a total population of 15. When he was alive, Dr Harold Carr had received many letters asking him to sell his car but he never did. The Bugatti was driven for a few years before he stored it in a garage near his home at Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. The proceeds of the Bugatti’s auction will be shared with 8 of Carr’s inheritors.
