Dr Harold Carr died at 89 and left behind a vintage car. Carr left a 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante. (picture is below) This rare car is one of the 17 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante that exists or were ever made. This automobile clocked only 26, 284 miles.

The 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante has 99% of its original parts. The relatives of Carr have put it up for auction in Paris. It is expected to fetch a minimum of £ 4.7 million at an auction.

The Tye 57S Atalantes has a total population of 15. When he was alive, Dr Harold Carr had received many letters asking him to sell his car but he never did. The Bugatti was driven for a few years before he stored it in a garage near his home at Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. The proceeds of the Bugatti’s auction will be shared with 8 of Carr’s inheritors.
