Some members of 1 Mind Ministries were given titles like queen and princess, according to court documents. 1 Mind Ministries believed that a pregnant woman should give birth without access to doctors. One Mind Ministries is similar to a cult movement group.
There is another group called One Mind Ministries there. That seemed to be a different group with a very similar name.

All religious facilities should shut down by the end of this year 2008, or more people will continue to become victimized by these bogus religion facilities. There is no god or spirit. There is only life and death, and if you choose death, don’t choose it for someone else. More people are becoming victims in religion and by religioun than any where else.

No. Atheism is not logical either. Just because some evil and or miguided people do horrible things doesn’t mean religion and spirituality is not real.
If there’s counterfeit money there has to be real money somewhere. These people were crazy, cruel lost, demonic or whatever but God is real. Shut down religious and spiritual practices if you want to. Then watch what happens to the planet.

Atheism certainly is more logical than belief in supernatural beings. You can believe whatever you want, but in my opinion these primitive beliefs are trying to drag us back to the world of the Bible, 2000 years ago.

secular countries like sweden have way lower crime, higher income per capita, etc. birds, river basins, black holes (where all religious beliefs should go), and brains (something the religious don’t use to it’s full potential) are not “designed” by “anyone”. read a book on fossils…..and paleontology. religion belongs in history books as something to look at to explain the horrendous things done in it’s name. religion does not make reproducible predictions and therefore does not belong in the science classroom. The majority of inmates in U.S. prisons classify themselves as christians according to a government survey. you can disprove popular religous texts with valid scientific evidence and you can disprove it with rational thought. i challenge you to read the whole bible or koran and don’t cherry pick excerpts….it it’s not the most horrific and senseless thing you’ve ever read then you’re officially retarded…end of story.

Atheists – just shut up and stop atacking ‘religion, relationship or spirituality’. These cult members were warped but that doesn’t mean veryone else is. And for the record… in my experience, the expression “There’s no such thing as an atheist on the battle field or on the death bed” is very appropriate. i’ve seen it dozens of times before.
Atheisim by its very nature, is tunnel visioned and closed minded, espoused mostly by attention seekers and those who have overtly confrontational attitudes.

Someone really doesn’t believe in Darwin? Darwin lived from 1809-1882. He existed. We have pictures of him. How old is the earth? 6000 years? People had pet dinosaurs too, didn’t they? If you want to talk of tunnel vision, ask any of the mindless drones who listen to a priest pretend to talk to god every week for money.
Most atheists are not attention seekers. Many of us are still a little nervous since your churches burned the last bunch of us.

It sounds like your a bit hurt and angry. Maybe some people claiming Christianity didn’t treat you very well because you don’t beleive the same as we do? If so I’d like to say I’m sorry for that. Christ showed His love for everyone He met including those that mocked, abused and even killed Him. He did reserve very hash words though for the religous hypocrites of His day for misrepresenting God and leading people away from Him instead of toward Him. There have always been hypocrites, liers, theives and murders in every religon, orginization, race, movement etc… basicly everywhere you find people. But, this is just the reason why Christ came and died. To “save a wretch like me” and you and everyone of us. We can’t even live up to our own standards much less Gods. We condemn ourselves but thank God the we can have forgiveness and through that a relationship with the One who created us. Darwin, I would ask you not to look so hard at we “sinners” who follow Christ or even claim to follow Him but to look to Christ Himself. He is not a religon or a movement or an orginization. He is the one who loves you so much that He was willing to humble Himself more than we can know and die for us so we can be free of our hate and anger and live a life of joy an purpose. religion is man made. its been a power struggle ever since to control the populace and be in control, story of humankind. the bible isnt fact, its morals to live by metaphoricaly portrayed through biblical stories. if you believe it to be historical fact, your right, your not tunnel visioned, your imaginatively envisioning bullshit, worse and far more dangerous. science is not law neither, because unlike the foundations of religion, it often overlooks ethics and morals. to say god is real, and prove it by telling us to look at a river basin and black hole you are one, completely not proving you point, and two, extraordinarily fearful of the unknown and thus basing all that is a mystery in life into a brown paper bag full of folded in half pieces of paper individually labeled god. i would tell you to read a science book, but fuck that would be boring. does it really bother you so much when someone expresses negativity towards your religion that you must arrogantly quote biblical excerpts and bash ideas such as ‘free will and thought’. be afraid, be very afraid.

I Stalin and Lenin were an atheist, and they killed how many? Plenty more than all the horrors of the relgious wars and persecutions of the past. How many hospitals and orphanages has Athesim built? Islam and Christianity have bulit most. How many universities has Atheism started? Most of the top institutions in the US were started by religious groups.
By your own logic, we can see that Atheism is the worse, less benificial philosophy.
Also, why do you advocate controling another persons beliefs? Is that at part of atheisim?

This is exactly what has been going on for years. Ever since the beginning of time. OUR own free will to believe in what we want. I am a Bible believing christian who has read the bible 4 times and working on my 5th. It has some very questionable things in it. That is when i look to other sources of proof or direction, one being prayer. Not everyone will be convinced that God is who he is. And as a christian i too sometimes wonder, BUT, I do know this. I KNOW who i believe, and why, just like an atheist knows exactly why they dont believe in God and why there could be no way ever that a superior being spoke this stuff into existence. Thats ok though, I enjoy magic shows, and often i wonder how in the world they made that stuff happen. The beauty of my belief is i wonder how God made things happen as well, and with him I dont always have to know or understand, just believe.

God is real. man today is way too arrogantly caught up with sciences and achievements. Sure Darwin discovered all this and the evolution process and what not. Why do you think that Christianity has been around for so long? What’s so bad about believing in a Creator? There are millions of scientists today who STRUGGLE to find that controlling power of the universe. They call it black matter. Where does that black matter come from? They will not take God as an answer because there simply is NO EVIDENCE. With all of man’s achievements, we always need evidence in order to believe. We cannot always expect to receive evidence to prove that God is real. We must simply believe, and there’s nothing wrong in doing so. But I am SURE Of it. He is there. And man is nothing compared to God’s creations. here’s proof for all you atheists out there. I do not judge you or anything. ….who knows nearly ZIP about all that God/hell fire/ darwin..whatever.. but I do know that people are born with an equal capacity for good and evil. What defines us is how we utilize that potential..for good..or er not so much. Society loves the movies where good triumphs over evil, but the real entertainment value lies in real life situations where this occurs. Some may conclude that “GOD” is behind this, I just think its people overcoming the dark potential inside them, which is awesome! ~*Peace*~

Why is it “god’s will” and “god works in mysterious ways” when the disasters occur? And “Thank God” and ” God has blessed us” when the good things happen? Isn’t the devil getting laid off here? Wasn’t causing disasters in his job description?

Just a girl, I will try to answer your questions as best as possible.
You see, religion is hard to understand, you just need to have faith in Him, and trust the Lord. Natural disasters happen because its a “wake up call” for people to change their ways. People think its punishment, but if it really is punishment, why doesn’t God finish us all off now? God wants to change our ways as soon as possible before “the end of time,” if you will. In fact, all events occurring right now is being prophesied in the Bible. God is trying to call upon us all through things we don’t understand. Man’s mind can only achieve so much, and we often overlook that now, especially with so many advancements in technology and all that. I think that man has overlooked God because God has not answered his prayers or something. For example, if a man prays for a sick relative, and God doesn’t “answer” or grant it, it is solely God’s will. We cannot match God’s mind; we will NEVER understand His reasons fully. And think about it this way, without bad, there would never be good in the world. Without disaster, I suppose, the world would fail to see God’s callings. My friend’s brother told me that it took him one MAJOR car accident, practically almost his life, to realize that all this time God has been calling him to go back to church. And no matter what, until Christ comes to save us all, there will always, always, be evil in the world. Also, since man is at the top of our achievements right now, I presume that Christ will be coming very soon. We must remember that all of our achievements and intelligence has come from God. We are continuing to simply discover the creations of God. I know that today, science is said to prove everything, especially since it contains evidence. It is difficult to believe without evidence. But the link in “Just Believe”’s post is justifiable. You have to just have faith in God. And whatever your choice, I hope it doesn’t take one major accident to wake you up. I am not judging or anything, please don’t get me wrong. I hope I answered your questions.

I’ve seen ghosts, felt things, and experienced things most people don’t. I’m not crazy either. But I didn’t need any of these things to prove God existed to me. I was raised in an Atheistic home, but even if God did not exist when one interprets the bible not literally, but for the lessons learned, you can find similar beliefs with other religions, because love is universal. I don’think prayer should be in schools because not everyone is Christian. Believing in God does not make you less intelligent. Einstein very much believed in God, and tried in vain to make a formula that proved that God existed. But what makes God exist, whether He exists or not, is the faith that you hold within yourself for Him. I believe when someone is fully in admiration and belief in God, they’re not bitter, but calm. Not judgemental, but understanding. Compassionate instead of searching for justice. Kind even when people may take advantage. That’s what religion means to me. I don’t identify myself with a religion at this moment, but I know God exists and He’s very real to me. Many conservative religious people have tested my faith and called me a cafeteria believer. But I don’t need their approval. I pray. I believe, and I give back to my community.. We all make mistakes, including me.. No one is perfect. But to me, truly understanding what God stands for, is what makes Him come alive. Personally, I feel like he’s real on a different level. And I know this different level exists.

All of you who say there is no God, the truth is you have NO sense. Do you think that this planet, the universe can miraculously just form by itself? Just like when you see a skyscraper or a nice car you automatically think of the people or company who built it. You do not say it came about by itself. Hi Everyone, Let’s not forget the poor child who had to suffer and die at all these idiots expense. How could a mother deny her baby food and water!! I have an 18 month old and that is just crazy to me. Religion or not, she is responsible for her sons Death! Now she wants to go back and testify against the others to get a lesser jail sentence. She should have been a mother and protected her son!
